August 1, 2014 (San Diego)—You’re invited to join the San Diego County Sheriff's Department for its free Night Out Against Crime events on Tuesday, August 5th.  There are locations countywide, including some in East County.

It's a day when communities across the country take a stand to let criminals know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Meet deputies who patrol your communities and mingle with your neighbors while enjoying food, drinks, giveaways and activities for kids.

All locations will have a Sheriff's Crime Prevention Specialist on site (and a special display) so you can get tips on how to stay safe.
