NATIONAL NIGHT OUT / EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FAIR 2015

July 16, 2015 (La Mesa) -- Join the La Mesa Police Department and Heartland Fire and Rescue in celebrating the 4th annual “National Night Out against Crime” and Emergency Preparedness Fair Event, Tuesday, August 4th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the La Mesa Police Station Parking lot (8085 University Avenue - same location as the La Mesa Farmers Market).

National Night Out aims to heighten awareness of crime prevention techniques and strengthen police and community partnerships. La Mesa Police and Heartland Fire will be on hand to interact with kids and demonstrate their emergency vehicles.

There will be a couple Food Trucks, a Kettle Corn booth and giveaways!! 

The La Mesa Police Department also encourages neighborhoods to participate in this nation wide event by hosting a National Night Out event on your street! Gather your neighbors and organize a fun, outdoor activity. Register your event with the La Mesa Police Department by July 27th and a representative of the City of La Mesa and a police officer will stop by!
