May 28, 2023 (Salt Lake City) -  San Diego State’s season came to an end with a 7-2 loss at No. 15 overall seed Utah in the NCAA Salt Lake City Regional final Sunday afternoon at Dumke Family Softball Stadium. The Aztecs (39-17) captured the Mountain West Tournament and NCAA Los Angeles Regional before falling a victory short in the NCAA Super Regional of making it to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.

May 27, 2023 (Salt Lake City) - The San Diego State softball team dropped the second game of the best-of-three series in the NCAA Super Regional at No. 15 overall seed Utah Saturday afternoon at Dumke Family Softball Stadium. With the 10-1, five-inning loss, the Aztecs (39-16) and Utes (41-14) will play at noon MT (11 a.m. PT) Sunday for the right to advance to the Women’s College World Series.

May 27, 2023 (Salt Lake City) -  A.J. Murphy hit a go-ahead two-run double in the top of the fourth inning and the 1-2 pitching duo of Allie Light and Dee Dee Hernandez allowed just five hits against the fourth-best hitting team in the country to lift the San Diego State softball team to a 4-3 win at the No. 15 overall seed Utah in the opener of the NCAA Salt Lake City Regional on Friday night. The Aztecs (39-15) now lead the best-of-three series with the Utes (40-14) and can clinch a berth in the Women’s College World Series with a win at 3 p.m. MT (2 p.m. PT) Saturday.

With the win, the Aztecs (38-15) advanced to their first NCAA Super Regionals in program history and will play at No. 15 overall seed Utah next weekend.

Finally, the Padres struck first with a walk from Matt Carpenter in the first with the bases loaded in the first.  Rougned Odor drove in a big three-RBI double to right and the Padres led 4-0 after one.

May 20, 2023 (Los Angeles) - The San Diego State softball team shut out Grand Canyon, 6-0, Saturday afternoon to advance to the NCAA Los Angeles Regional at Easton Stadium. It was the fourth consecutive shutout for the Aztecs (37-15), who advanced to a double-elimination regional final game without a loss for the first time since the NCAA moved to a four-team format in 2005.

May 17, 2023 (Salem, S.C.) - The San Diego State men’s golf team put up a furious rally down the stretch but came up one shot short of making a playoff at the NCAA Salem Regional Wednesday afternoon in Salem, South Carolina. The Aztecs fired a 16-under-par 272 in today’s final round on the par-72, 7,126-yard The Cliffs at Keowee Falls, tying with No. 26 Georgia Southern at 28-under 836.
