March 4, 2023 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s tennis fell 6-1 to No. 37 USD on Saturday afternoon at the Aztec Tennis Center. The Aztecs fell in doubles before coming up just short in singles play.

March 4, 2023 (Scottsdale) - The Padres faced the Diamondbacks again today.  Reiss Knehr started against Brandon Pfaadt for Arizona.
 
Ketel Marte began the scoring for the Diamondbacks with a sac fly in the second that scored Pavin Smith and Arizona led 1-0 after two.

March 4, 2023 (La Jolla) - Chikaya Sato and Johannes Seeman of the San Diego State men’s tennis team led the team with three wins on the first day of the Pacific Coast Doubles Championships to advance to the Round of 16. The nine players on the SDSU roster split up into five doubles teams that won eight of their combined twelve matches including all five Round of 128 matchups on Friday.

March 4, 2023 (San Diego) - The Aztec lacrosse team (2-5) knocked off Kent State (2-2) 15-9 at Snapdragon Stadium Friday. The Aztecs made an early statement, scoring 11 goals in the first half. Kent State worked their way back towards the Aztecs in the second half, but SDSU kept their lead to secure a 15-9 victory in front of fans, family, and alumni at their first ever Snapdragon Stadium contest.

March 2, 2023 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s tennis team returned to action for the first time in March against the No. 37 ranked UC Santa Barbara Gauchos at the Aztec Tennis Center on Thursday, March 2. After jumping out to a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point, SDSU was blanked in singles play by the Gauchos, falling 4-1.

The loss left the Aztecs (3-9) in 12th place in the weekend tournament.

February 25, 2023 (Albuquerque) -  Lamont Butler's 3-pointer at the buzzer gave No. 22 San Diego State a 73-71 win over New Mexico on Saturday.

After Jaelen House's steal and end-to-end run for a layup with 5.6 seconds left gave New Mexico a 71-70 lead, Butler unhurriedly brought the ball up court before dropping his shot, giving him 10 points for the Aztecs (23-5, 14-2 Mountain West).

February 25, 2023 (Las Vegas) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (21-9, 11-6) fell at No. 24/25 UNLV (27-2, 17-0) 65-59 Saturday afternoon.

Playing in front of a record-breaking crowd for UNLV, the Aztecs were led by Mercedes Staples’ 17 points, which included shooting 5-for-6 from three. Yummy Morris and Sophia Ramos each added 12 points apiece while Ramos surpassed 1,900 points for her career. Asia Avinger added seven points and six assists without committing a turnover in 37 minutes.
