May 20, 2022 (Tempe) - Mac Barbara had two of San Diego State’s NCAA tournament-record four home runs in a 10-5 victory over No. 22/20 LSU in the first game of the NCAA Tempe Regional Friday night at Farrington Stadium. The Aztecs (38-14) will now play the winner of No. 8/5 Arizona State and Cal State Fullerton at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the winner’s bracket of the double-elimination regional.

May 18, 2022 (Norman, Okla.) - The San Diego State men’s golf team had its season come to an end with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Norman Regional at 9-over-par 873. The Aztecs collectively shot a 2-over 290 on the par-72, 7,452-yard Jimmy Austin OU Golf Club in today’s final round but finished 13 shots behind Utah for fifth place and the region’s final spot into the NCAA Championships slated for May 27-June 1 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

May 14, 2022 (Clovis) - Four Aztecs won individual events, and two relay teams were crowned event champions as the Aztecs were crowned Mountain West Conference Champions for the second consecutive year. Jada Moore, Simone Johnson, Danae Dyer and Kaitlin Heri all won their respective events throughout the weekend, while the Aztecs won both the 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay on Saturday night.

May 12, 2022 (Albuquerque) - San Diego State downed New Mexico, 7-1, to clinch at least a share of the Mountain West title and earn the league’s automatic bid into the NCAA tournament Thursday at Lobo Softball Field. The Aztecs (36-13, 19-3 MW) lead Boise State (17-5 MW) by a pair of games but own the tiebreaker after winning two of three contests with the Broncos from April 14-16.
