INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT SENDS WORKER TO EMERGENCY ROOM

April 12, 2012 (El Cajon)--Just before 2:00 p.m. yesterday, Heartland Fire & Rescue in El Cajon, with assistance from San Miguel Fire Protection district and El Cajon Police, responded to reports of 48 year-old male injured on the job at Precision Metal Products, located at 850 West Bradley in El Cajon.
 
According to police, the worker had been operating a heavy press when a piece of the metal broke loose striking the worker in the abdomen.  Heartland Fire & Rescue stabilized the victim and transported him to Sharp Memorial’s Trauma Room. 
 

There is no word on his condition.  There were no other injuries involved.
