THE JIM AND ANN SHOW, LIVE IN THE LEE HOUSE MARCH 3

February 5, 2011 (Lemon Grove)--Jim and Ann Elliott, for 30 years the last word in printing, mailing and political consulting at Western Graphics in Lemon Grove, will bring tales from the trenches and little-known backstories of politicians on the prowl to "History Alive," the monthly lectures series sponsored by the Lemon Grove Historical Society on Mar. 3 at 7 p.m. in the H. Lee House Cultural Center, 3205 Olive, Lemon Grove.

The Elliotts are among the best-known pros in their business--with plenty of inside secrets to share from their days of burning the midnight oil to meet deadlines.  You read all about it when they ran their famous shop on North Avenue, with their signature red-white-and-blue-postal-box-on-a-truck that chugged all over the county, delivering political campaign materials. Now, you can hear all about it as Jim and Ann regale us with how they built Western Graphics into a powerhouse smack dab in the center of the peculiar, maddening, inspiring world of politics.

"The Jim and Ann Show" is at the heart of this year's theme for "History Alive": Your story begins at home.

"History Alive" is free and suitable for ages 12 and over. Questions and answers and refreshments will follow the presentation. For more information, call 619-460-4353.
