PREPARING FOR DISASTERS PROGRAM FOR BUSINESSES FEB. 4

January 14, 2016 (Spring Valley) -- South County and East County Economic Development Councils will be hosting a Disaster Preparedness Forum for businesses on Thursday, February 4 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Spring Valley Community Center, 8735 Jamacha Blvd. in Spring Valley.

In an effort to help businesses prepare and be more resilient for a wide array of disasters, experts in the fields of emergency services, utility services, law enforcement and officials from the County of San Diego will convey information on how to properly prepare for a disaster, both natural and man-made. County Supervisors Greg Cox and Dianne Jacob are scheduled to make brief introductory remarks.

This event is provided at no cost.  Registration is recommended due to limited seating.
