May 15, 2011 (San Diego) --I read today that Rep Duncan Hunter is out bashing gays again. Now he wants to revive Don't Ask Don't Tell: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0511/54644.html.
I ask Duncan: “Don't you have anything better to do with your time?" I see military families everyday here in San Diego and I never hear them talking about Don't Ask Don't Tell. What I do hear families talking about is the high cost of gas at a time oil companies have reaped record profits.
No, Rep Hunter, they don't care about gays working with their spouses, they care about paying $4.50 for a gallon of gas while you, Representative Hunter, vote to give oil companies continued tax breaks. Rep Hunter, it's time to grow up and listen to our real concerns.
