August 12, 2009 - We sold out -- but had a handful of cancellations so there are just a few tickets left for tonight's "Have a Hot Time at Hooleys with East County Magazine."  Festivities are from 6-9 p.m. at Hooleys Irish Pub & Grill in Grossmont Center. Tickets cost $25 or $20 for Chamber of Commerce members or members of sponsoring organizations.

Leaders of the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians will join us to make a special announcement.  Our fun-loving East County Eater will have games and prizes for a trivia contest (hint: you can find all the answers in our articles) plus you can "meet the press" and get the scoop on local news.  We'll also have an opportunity drawing and an auction!

Prizes include dinners at many local restaurants, artwork, a mountain bike, wines, books, jewelry, spa treatments and more!

Our thanks to our generous sponsors:  Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, Hooleys Irish Pub & Grill,  Sports Authority, Red Lobster, Gio's Bistro Wine Bar,  Tiramisu Trattoria, Downtown Cafe, Centifoni Restaurant, Fuddruckers, Antique Row Cafe, Tiramisu, Chipotle, Rock Canyon Vineyards, Orfila Vineyards, Schaesdall Winery, La Serenissima Winery, Stardust: A Rejuvenating Spot, artist Mary Genser, Golden Poppy gift store, Gentleman's Clothiers, St. Madeleine Sophie's Gallery, Silver Creek Gallery, Diamond Dancing, and more.
