August 27, 2016 (Miami) - After a heartbreaking loss last night, the Padres had it in mind not to give up a huge lead ever again.  We’ll see how well that went with Clayton Richard on the mound against Jose Urena for the Marlins.

The bats were silent until the fourth when Ryan Schimpf blasted a solo homer and the Padres took a 1-0 lead.  Miraculously, this was enough to get the Padres a game two win.  Richard pitched a shutout.

Be ready to get up early; game three, the finale, is tomorrow at 10:10 a.m.  Luis Perdomo will start against former Padre Andrew Cashner.
