A ROARING WILD TIME: SPEND THE NIGHT AT LIONS, TIGERS & BEARS JULY 10 & 24

June 27, 2009 (Alpine_ Looking for a wild time? East County's only big cat sanctuary invites you to spend a wild night in the country with Raja and Bakari at Lions Tigers & Bears. Pitch a tent and set-up camp next to the big cats--or opt for more luxurious lodging--complete with wine and dinner.

Accommodations for campers include a fabulous dinner; make your own s’mores, hot cocoa to keep you warm and continental breakfast. Roam the sanctuary at your leisure, listen to the magnificent sounds of the big cats at night, star gaze, and spend some quality time with keepers. All guests must bring their own camping/sleeping gear. Please call to RSVP at (619)659-8078.

 

When: July 10th for families or July 24, 2009 for adults only

 

Time: Campout times are 3:30 p.m. on Friday to 12 p.m. Saturday

 

Donation: $200 per adult and $150 per child ages 8 to 15

 

If you're not into camping, you can still experience the big cat sanctuary at night with the Escape to Lions, Tigers & Bears package. Accommodations include a one-night stay for two at Lions Tigers & Bears in a private one bedroom suite with sitting area, fireplace, veranda and breathtaking views. Choose from Friday night dining: dinner with Mark and Bobbi Brink at LTB, or a gift certificate to a local restaurant for a romantic dinner. Your stay will include a complimentary wine and fruit welcome basket, a special up close and personal visit with the big cats and our keepers, Saturday breakfast or lunch at a local restaurant, custom scrapbook photo page with your picture, and time to roam the sanctuary at your leisure.
