October 23, 2017 (San Diego) -- Ready for some good sounds of the season to get you into the holiday spirit?  On Sunday, December 10th at 3 p.m. The San Diego Festival Chorus and Orchestra will be presenting their concert entitled "Sounds Good," at College Avenue Baptist Church at 4747 College Avenue in San Diego.  This musical offering will consist of the Christmas portion of Handel's beloved "Messiah" along with selections of popular holiday music.  The Chorus is some 70 singers strong, the orchestra is 48 pieces and this concert, conducted by founder and director Anthony V. Mostardo, will also feature some of our fine local soloists

If this "Sounds Good" to you, ticket prices range from free for military members with current ID on up to $17 for adults.  There are discounts for students, seniors, groups and children.  All tickets at the door are $17, so advance purchase is encouraged.  Tickets are available online at sandiegofestivalchorus.org or from any chorus member.  For more information see the website or call (619) 977-3181

The San Diego Festival Chorus was founded over fifteen years ago by Maestro Mostardo and is made up of singers and players from the community who love to make music.  The chorus is always happy to welcome new members.  There are no auditions, but prior choral experience is helpful.  They rehearse on Monday evenings from 7-9:15 at Hillsdale Middle School in the Rancho San Diego area of El Cajon.  Members pay a fee and perform in two concerts a year.
