August 31, 2018 (San Diego) - The SDSU men’s basketball program is playing host to the inaugural San Diego State Fantasy Camp on Saturday, Sept. 29.  The unique experience is designed for participants ages 30 and older, and will include a full day of basketball activity on the Viejas Arena floor.

Those in attendance will receive an exclusive Jordan Brand gear pack, which will include team shoes, socks, tights, t-shirts, shorts and a personalized practice jersey. The camp will include various on-court skill instruction, coaches’ chalk talk, shooting games and 5-on-5 action.

All members of the 2018-19 Aztec program will be on hand to assist with the camp. Head coach Brian Dutcher will serve as camp commissioner, while assistant coaches Rod Palmer, Dave Velasquez and Jay Morris, along with director of player development JD Pollock and assistant to the head coach Mark Fisher will be head coaches for the camp teams. This season’s student-athletes will serve as assistant coaches.

The special opportunity is limited to 32 participants and is designed to provide a one-of-a-kind experience inside the men’s hoops program. Along with the basketball portion of the day, lunch and dinner will be provided to give fantasy campers the opportunity to interact with student-athletes and staff.

The cost for the event is $1,500 and is transferable for those interested in gifting the experience to a family member or friend over the age of 30. Please call Leana DeKock in the men’s basketball office at (619) 594-6249 or email her at dekock@sdsu.edu to reserve your spot.
