January 22, 2016 (San Diego) - While San Diego waits on pins and needles for the final word on whether or not the Chargers go to LA, the Save Our Bolts organization is urging Chargers fans to use the old-fashioned form of persuasion:  writing a letter.

Save Our Bolts, along with Bolt Pride, San Diego Bolt Complex, You Know You're a Chargers Fan When, Cali Comfort BBQ in Spring Valley and other fan groups, is running the "San Diego Love Letter Challenge."

Inspired by 100-year-old Chargers fan Dr. Blake Talbot, who was featured in a three minute short video by ESPN, the Love Letter Challenge is urging Chargers fans to write love letters to the Chargers organization and share them on social media.  Some sample letters include how long people have been Chargers fans, why they love the Chargers and when fans attended their first Chargers game.

It's not just football fans doing the Challenge.  It's spread to the hockey community too.  The Gulls are joining in the fight to save their brothers in sports from going to LA.
