SDSU POLICE WARN OF STRONG-ARM ROBBERY

May18, 2014 (San Diego) – Last night at 9:28 p.m., three unknown male suspects robbed and assaulted a victim while he was attempting to place his backpack and skateboard into his vehicle’s trunk.   The victim resisted the theft and was kicked and punched by the suspects, who fled on foot westbound on Hardy Avenue with the victim’s property.

 

The assailants are described as African-American adults in their 20s, all clean shaven with short hair. One wore a white T-shirt with grey basketball-type shorts. The second wore all black clothing.  There is no description of the third suspect’s attire.

The victim later recovered his skateboard after the suspects dropped it.  The victim was not seriously injured during the robbery. SDSU Police are investigating this case and are following up on any leads.
