October 9, 2010 (Alpine) – Lions, Tigers and Bears invites you to come spend a “wild and ghoulish night in the country” with Raja, Bakari, Conga and other wild creatures at this big cat rescue facility in Alpine October 29-30. Camp-outs sell out quickly, so call to reserve space at (619)659-8078.
Pitch a tent and set-up camp among the big cats, roam the sanctuary and listen to the sounds of big cats at night, star gaze, and visit with keepers. All guests must bring their own camping and sleeping gear.
The “Ruffin ‘ It” package (bring your own dinner and breakfast) costs $50 for adults and $25 for children ages 8-15. (LTB provides s’mores.) Or opt for a VIP package, which includes dinner from Phil’s BBQ, s’mores, hot chocolate and a continental breakfast at $200 for adults, $150 for children 8-15.
