July 31, 2011 (Spring Valley) – Spring Valley resident Scott Beach, 28, of has died of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Vista, the San Diego Medical Examiner reports.
On July 25th at 8:45 a.m., Beach veered onto loose debris at the side of the road on Buena Creek Road in Vista, striking a tree. Although he wore a helmet, he suffered a severe brain injury.
Beach was airlifted to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, where he was declared brain dead on July 26.
