Ramona's Dye & Highland Valley Intersection to be Impacted

May 13, 2017 (Ramona) -- Lane closures with one-way traffic will impact State Route 67 at the Dye Road/Highland Valley Road intersection in Ramona on Sunday, May 14, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and next week during overnight hours from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. rom Monday night, May 15, to Friday morning, May 19.

The closures are needed so Ramona Municipal Water District can repair water valves beneath the highway.  Caltrans issued the advisory, however, the lane closures are not part of any Caltrans project.  Traffic delays are expected, and travelers are advised to allow additional time to reach their destinations.

The signal light at the SR-67, Dye Road and Highland Valley Road intersection will be set to a flashing red signal during the lane closures. Construction workers with flags will be onsite to help direct motorists through the construction zone.

Caltrans reminds motorists to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment in the project area. The work schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Questions about the RMWD work may be directed to Ricardo Soto at 760-789-1330.  Visit the Caltrans District 11 page on Facebook for updates at www.facebook.com/CaltransDistrict11.
