Artists' Reception scheduled for March 30

February 25, 2011 (El Cajon)--The St. Clair Gallery in El Cajon has announced its 26th Invitational Art Exhibit, which will run from February 28 through April 1, 2011. The artists’ reception will be held on Wednesday, March 30 from 5 to 8pm. Admission is free.

Over 140 works of art by numerous artists will be on display, including oil and watercolor paintings by Barbara Siegal, who opens her own personal gallery at St. Clair with this exhibit.

Located in the East County Business Center at 270 East Douglas Avenue in El Cajon, the St. Clair gallery boasts a wide variety of fine art in “the largest ongoing art show in Southern California.” Gallery director Howard Bagley said that art sales have been increasing steadily, despite the market. He also revealed that the gallery will expand in April 2011, opening a second location in the Murphy Canyon area.

Exhibiting is by invitation, and preregistration for this upcoming show is required by February 23.
