Thanks to all who made our SummerFest a sizzling success!

Over 300 community members who attended, dozens of sponsors, a legion of loyal volunteers, the talented Chefs de Cuisine,  Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation for hosting our event at their beautiful facility, and our VIP guests including two members of Congress.

Sunday, June 26th, 6-9 p.m. at Mission Trails (early trail walk at 5 p.m.) 

Culinary masters fire up the grill for a midsummer night's eve of gourmet feasting and frolicking, wine and beer tasting, music and merrymaking in a spectacular setting--with thousands of dollars in prizes including 3 vacations, golf, art, wine, sightseeing flight, hot tickets and more. (Note: There are 2 Father Junipero Serra Trail entrances into the park -- take the one farthest south. If you 're coming off Highway 52, that's the 2nd entrance.  From 8 up Mission Gorge Rd, it's the first one.)

Note: We've invited all elected officials to higher offices in our region. Congressman Bob Filner has confirmed he will attend.  Congresswoman Susan Davis' office indicated she, too, wll try to join our event. (Congressman Duncan Hunter is in Afghanistan and unable to attend.) Councilmember Marti Emerald has also confirmed she will be at SummerFest.

This event is limited to age 21 and up.  A pre-event hike starts at 5 pm;

Thanks for sharing this to us. I wish I could celebrate my summer there. Anyways, I will definitely go there next summer the following year.
