SUSPECTS SOUGHT FOR ARMED ROBBERIES IN LEMON GROVE AND SPRING VALLEY: REWARD OFFERED

October 28, 2016 (San Diego’s East County) – Authorities seek public help to identify two men who robbed gas stations and 7-11 stores Sunday night and early Monday morning.  The two masked thieves threatened clerks with a pistol, then stole cash from numerous locations in Lemon Grove, Spring Valley, Hillcrest, La Jolla and Lemon Grove.

Surveillance video caught the crooks using a white Ford Mustang as the getaway vehicle.  The car had damage to the front driver’s side and is from the late ‘90s or early 2000s.

Both men are described as Latinos in their early to mid-20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall.

One wore a blue Chargers sweatshirt with lightning bolt logo, along with a bandana with skull design covering part of his face and a black baseball cap with the letter “D”.

 His accomplice wore a dark-colored baseball cap with the letters "SD" and covered the lower part of his face with a black T- shirt.
