NEW CALIFORNIA LAWS THAT MAY AFFECT YOU

January 5, 2015 (San Diego’s East County)—Governor Brown has signed 930 bills into law, covering a broad spectrum of issues.  These range from laws to protect consumer rights and privacy to laws that affect gun owners, immigrants, senior care facilities, renters and condo owners, youth sports, students, prisoners, dog owners, parents, business owners, and many others.

September 9, 2011 (San Diego) -- San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie M. Dumanis reminds residents and businesses of important consumer advice and assistance in the wake of San Diego’s unprecedented blackout. The warning comes amid scattered news reports of potential price gouging in the 24 hours following the power shut-down.
