July 24, 2016 (Lakeside) - Join the Lakeside Community Center for a night of entertainment, games, food and fun for the entire family.. As part of San Diego's Movies in the Park series, the Center will be hosting two movies at the Lindo Lake Baseball fields featuring "The Incredibles" on Friday, August 26.

July 14, 2016 (Lakeside) - Are you ready for a challenge? El Capitan is arguably one of the most rugged and difficult trails in San Diego County. Bring a gallon of water and snacks, a hat, sunscreen and wear sturdy shoes for this very difficult 7-hour, 12-mile round-trip hike up to the top of El Cajon Mountain.

February 29, 2016 (Lakeside)--Lakeside is a rural area in the Eastern region of San Diego County. Many people find it a great place to call home, but like the rest of San Diego County, it has a growing problem with chronic disease and other health concerns.

Throughout the month of March, California Health Network, a nonprofit organization based in East County, is doing its part in improving  the health of the citizens of Lakeside by sponsoring Lakeside Health Awareness Month. Another 32 local health and fitness businesses are offering free and discounted services to  citizens of Lakeside. LAKESIDE CHAMBER HOSTS BEANS, BEER & BUSINESS FAIR OCT. 12

 

 

Free Community Event with Chili Cook Off, Vendor Booths & Entertainment

October  6, 2013 (Lakeside) – The Lakeside Chamber of Commerce will host its first annual Beans, Beers & Business Fair on Saturday, October 12th from 10am to 5pm at the Lakeside Rodeo Grounds. This free event will be packed with vendor booths, entertainment from local schools and churches, a craft beer garden and an “amateur” chili cook off complete with awards and cash prizes.   For more information or to reserve a vendor booth, please go to www.lakesidechamber.org.
