November 16, 2023 (San Diego’s East County) – East County has a wealth of treasured holiday events coming up this season, from  holiday lighting displays and craft fairs to local festivals, outdoor ice skating rinks, a train ride aboard the North Pole Express, a pottery studio tour, and a performance of the Nutcracker ballet.

HOLIDAY HOME TOUR DECEMBER 1 IN LAKESIDE

November 19, 2012 (Lakeside) -- The Lakeside Historical Society will be hosting their annual HOLIDAY HOME TOUR on Saturday, December 1 from 10a.m. until 2p.m. Four unique homes and one business will be featured on the self-guided tour. The Lakeside Museum and Olde Community Church will open for viewing as well. Mrs Clause Christmas Resale Shoppe will be open for shopping.

IT’S OFFICIAL: MOTHER GOOSE PARADE IS SAVED!

September 6, 2009 (El Cajon) – Organizers of the Mother Goose Parade have voted to save East County's most cherished holiday tradition, after an outpouring of community do nations raised enough to cover a significant portion of the costs, East County Magazine has learned.
