March 14, 2013 (El Cajon)--El Cajon Singing Hills Lions Club is planning a fundraiser for the Warrior Foundation of San Diego, which they fund, and also to send care packages to the troops.
The event will be held Saturday March 23, 2013 from 6-11 p.m. at the El Cajon VFW located at 136 Chambers St, El Cajon. The dinner dance with entertainment and band will also have a silent auction and raffle. 100% of the fund will go towards charity.

September 27, 2012 (San Diego) -- Soroptimist International of San Diego is holding their 3rd annual Wine, Cheese and Chocolate fundraising event on September 28, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Visitor Center Lobby/Terrace. A silent auction will feature a gorgeous solid body electric guitar donated by Taylor Guitars! In addition there will be music by members of the San Diego Native American Flute Circle.
