EAST COUNTY VINTNER'S HARVEST CELEBRATION OCT. 11

 

 

September 20, 2014 (Potrero) –You’re invited to join the East County Vintners Wine Group for its second annual Mountain Empire Country Harvest Celebration on Saturday, October 11 from 12 noon to sundown. The festivities take place at the Jim and Janet Wright Ranch and Vineyard in scenic Potrero, just 30 minutes east from Jamul off Highway 94/Campo Road. Smokey barbecue with all the trimmings and wine sampling by local vineyards and wineries are among the activities, along with a silent auction and door prizes.

August 23, 2014 (Alpine) – The Back Country Land Trust will  hold its third annual Wine and Cheese Friend-Raiser on Saturday, September 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Wright’s Field in Alpine.

POLONIA UNITED HOSTS EVENT TO BENEFIT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL JULY 12 IN LA MESA

 

July 12, 2014 (La Mesa) – Polonia United invites the public to attend a charity event to benefit Rady Children’s Hospital. The benefit begins at 6 p.m. with a reception followed by a live music concert by artist Ivan Quiceno from 7-9 p.m. as well as a silent auction.  The event costs $25 per person and will be held at 4518 Mayapan Drive in La Mesa, CA 91941.

May 29, 2014 (Rolando)--Sophia Pruden, a 13 year old Rolando resident, hosted the 7th annual Cookies for a Cure fundraiser last Sunday, May 25, in loving memory of her aunt, Amy Pruden, who passed due to Leukemia in 2007.

May 17, 2014 (El Cajon) – The Aces Foundation is hosting a Special Auction Event benefitting the El Cajon Animal Shelter on June 1, from 5 – 7 p.m. at O’s American Kitchen, Parkway Plaza, El Cajon.  Barkitecture Animal Houses will be up for auction.

March 14, 2013 (El Cajon)--El Cajon Singing Hills Lions Club is planning a fundraiser for the Warrior Foundation of San Diego, which they fund, and also to send care packages to the troops.

The event will be held Saturday March 23, 2013 from 6-11 p.m. at the El Cajon VFW located at 136 Chambers St, El Cajon. The dinner dance with entertainment and band will also have a silent auction and raffle. 100% of the fund will go towards charity.

September 27, 2012 (San Diego) -- Soroptimist International of San Diego is holding their 3rd annual Wine, Cheese and Chocolate fundraising event on September 28, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Visitor Center Lobby/Terrace. A silent auction will feature a gorgeous solid body electric guitar donated by Taylor Guitars! In addition there will be music by members of the San Diego Native American Flute Circle. This savory event will be at the Campo Railroad Museum, located at State Highway 94 and Forrest Gate Road in Campo from 12:00--5:00 p.m. on March 24.
