ACCIDENT CAUSES POWER OUTAGE IN EL CAJON COMMUNITIES

April 28, 2013 (El Cajon ) – A brown Ford car has crashed into a power pole on Jamacha Road at Kendrick in the Granite Hills area.   Power lines are down.  An outage is affecting 1217 homes in the Granite Hills, Bostonia, Singing Hills and East El Cajon areas, according to the SDG&E website.

“The driver was not injured,” said Paul Kruze, an ECM photojournalist at the scene.  “Heartland Fire is on scene due to the risk of fire.”

TEEN DRIVER CHARGED WITH DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE AFTER SERIOUSLY INJURING TWO PEDESTRIANS

October 28, 2012 (La Mesa) – A 19-year-old driver on his way home from a party this morning lost control of a Chevy Suburban as he accelerated pulling away from a curb at 700 Glencoe Drive in the Jamacha/Lomita area.  He drove onto the wrong side of the street, striking two pedestrians and two parked.

One pedestrian, 19, suffered a brain bleed.  The second pedestrian, 20, sustained a broken clavical and broken ribs.

FOUR INJURED IN HEAD-ON CRASH ON JAMACHA

 

May 28, 2012 (Spring Valley) – A head-on collision has occurred at 10850 Jamacha Blvd. in Spring Valley. Incident Page Network reports four people are injured, including at least two in serious status. 

One vehicle is a Toyota Camry, according to the CHP website. The other vehicle is not yet identified.
