August 22, 2019 (Alpine)  Concerned over the potential loss of funds to expand a portion of Interstate 8 in East County due to a shift in priorities at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), the Alpine Chamber of Commerce has announced the formation of a Government Affairs Committee.

There will be marketing opportunities for Chamber members from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Alpine Regional Center’s lobby area at 1620 Alpine Boulevard  in Alpine. The general public is invited to attend free.

SANTA BREAKFAST & VIEJAS TOY DRIVE DEC. 1

November 27, 2012 (Alpine) – The Alpine Community Center, with Viejas Enterprises, presents Breakfast with Santa on December 1 from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the community center, 1830 Alpine Blvd., Alpine. A buffet style breakfast of pancakes, sausages and eggs will be served. 

The event will also feature arts and crafts, decorate your own cookie, door prizes, silent auction items and drawings.

LUNCH WITH STATE SENATOR JOEL ANDERSON ON NOV. 15

November 3, 2012 (Alpine) – The Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber hosts a lunch with State Senator Joel Anderson on November 15, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Paparazzi’s Restaurant, 1347 Tavern Road, Alpine.  The topic for discussion is “An Update from Sacramento”.  Anderson, State Senator from the thirty-sixth Senate District, represents over 1,000,000 constituents.  He was named the “California State Senate Legislator of the Year” by the California Small Business Association and California Small Business Roundtable.
