March 17, 2018 (Columbus) - Sophomore swimmer Courtney Vincent and senior diver Alexandra Caplan wrapped up their efforts at the NCAA Championships this weekend.

Caplan, SDSU’s program record holder on the 3-meter and 1-meter boards, collected a 22nd place finish on the 1-meter board with a score of 278.40, missing the final round by just 7.05 points. Caplan’s score was the second-best score in the preliminary round by a student-athlete from a non-power 5 conference. Caplan also collected a 35th-place score on the 3-meter board at 282.80.

March 16, 2018 (Greenville, S.C.) - The San Diego State lacrosse returned to its winning ways Friday with an 18-7 triumph over Furman in a non-conference road game at Paladin Stadium.

Junior Grace McGinty and sophomore Taylor Sullivan scored five goals apiece to lead the Aztecs, who improve to 6-3 on the season. Both totals were career highs for the SDSU midfielders.

The Aztecs dropped to 9-18 on the season in the Mountain West opener for the top-two teams in the league last year, while the Spartans improved to 17-9.

The loss drops the Aztecs to 2-10 on the year, while the Crimson captured their fourth straight, improving to 13-2 overall.

After the Falcons won the first game 7-3, SDSU responded with a 3-2 victory in the nightcap. The Aztecs are now 10-5 overall and 4-1 in the Mountain West, while Air Force is 5-10 on the season with a 1-2 conference mark.

The Aztecs (22-10, 11-7 MW), who captured the Mountain West tournament championship, will face the Cougars (26-7, 14-4 AAC) on Thursday, March 15 at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

March 10, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State had it three-game winning streak snapped Saturday after dropping a 19-8 decision to No. 4 Boston College on a rain-soaked afternoon at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

With the loss, SDSU fell for the first time in five home games, slipping to 5-3 overall, while the Eagles remain unbeaten on the year at 9-0.
