February 26, 2017 (Newport Beach, Calif.) - No. 12 San Diego State completed action at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational with a 10-7 loss to 15th-ranked Long Beach State at Corona del Mar Pool. The Aztecs fall to 5-7 on the season.

February 25, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State came back in dramatic fashion to defeat Notre Dame, 7-6, in the finale of the Tony Gwynn Classic Saturday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Earlier in the day, the Aztecs had dropped a 10-5 decision to Seton Hall in tournament play.

February 25, 2017 (Newport Beach, Calif.) - No. 12 San Diego State earned a 10-8 victory on Saturday afternoon vs. 20th-ranked Loyola Marymount at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational in Newport Beach. The Aztecs improved to 5-6 on the season with one game left in the tournament to be played on Sunday.

February 25, 2017 (Cathedral City, Calif.) - The San Diego State softball team rallied three times from one-run deficits to down Stanford, 5-4, Saturday night at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, Calif.

February 25, 2017 (Alberquerque) - Ashley Henderson won a pair of individual events and the San Diego State track and field team captured the 4x400-meter relay title, leading the Aztecs to a third-place finish at the 2017 Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by New Mexico, on Saturday.

February 25, 2017 (San Diego) - SDSU women’s basketball returned home after some tough losses on the road against UNLV and Fresno State.  Today at home against the Colorado State Rams was their chance to turn things around.  The Aztecs wore pink on their jerseys today in their annual Play4Kay game to benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.  Yow was the former head coach of North Carolina State women's basketball before she passed away from breast cancer in January of 2009.

February 25, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s tennis dropped its match against 30th-ranked Arizona State, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Aztec Tennis Center. After claiming the doubles point, the Sun Devils defeated the Aztecs across the board in singles, with one match left unfinished.

February 25, 2017 (Newport Beach, Calif.) - No. 12 San Diego State was upset by 16th-ranked UC San Diego on Saturday morning, 10-1, at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational. The Aztecs’ second loss of the tournament dropped them to 4-6 on the season.

February 25, 2017 (Cathedral City, Calif.) - The San Diego State softball team opened up its play in the prestigious Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic with a split against a pair of 2016 NCAA tournament teams Friday night in Cathedral City, Calif. The Aztecs (5-5) first run-ruled Oklahoma State 17-5 in six innings before falling to No. 1/1 Florida State 6-4 in the nightcap.

February 25, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State baseball played their first game in the second annual Tony Gwynn Baseball Classic tonight against the University of Tennessee.  The Classic was originally supposed to last until Sunday, but due to inclement weather, it has been reduced to Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with UC Irvine opening the tournament against the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on Thursday night.  Senior lefty Brett Seeburger got the start for the Aztecs against another southpaw, junior Zach Warren for Tennessee.  The Volunteers faced Seton Hall earlier in the day.

February 24, 2017 (Ann Arbor, Mich.) - Bolstered by senior Alex Watson’s career-high five goals, the San Diego State lacrosse team registered its first victory of the year with an 11-7 triumph over Michigan Friday in a non-conference road game at Oosterbaan Field House.

February 24, 2017 (San Diego) - After a 12-day hiatus, the San Diego State men’s tennis team showed no rust on Friday, posting an impressive 6-1 victory over Saint Mary’s in a non-conference dual match at Aztec Tennis Center. With the win, SDSU evens its record at 4-4 on the year, while the Gaels drop to 3-4 overall.

February 24, 2017 (Irvine) - The 12th-ranked San Diego State water polo team dropped a tough 14-10 decision at No. 6 UC Irvine on Friday afternoon in the first game of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational. The loss puts the Aztecs’ record at 4-5 on the season.

February 23, 2017 (Fullerton, Calif.) - In a game that went back and forth, San Diego State had the final say as it defeated No. 7/11 Cal State Fullerton, 5-4, Wednesday evening at Goodwin Field. With the win, the Aztecs improved to 3-2 on the season while Fullerton saw its recorded drop to 2-2.

February 22, 2017 (Fresno) - San Diego State women’s basketball battled Fresno State until the clock ran out, shutting out the Bulldogs from a field goal for over six minutes in the fourth quarter, but ultimately fell in a defensive juggernaut, 59-50, against its Mountain West foe Fresno State Wednesday night in Save Mart Center.

February 22, 2017 (La Quinta, Calif.) - San Diego State men’s golfer Nahum Mendoza III (San Diego, Calif.) tied for third place on the individual leaderboard Wednesday after firing an even-par 71 during the final round of The Prestige at PGA WEST.

February 22, 2017 (Irvine, Calif.) - San Diego State was unable to recover from a five-run deficit after four innings as it dropped a 7-5 decision to UC Irvine Tuesday night at Anteater Ballpark. With the loss, the Aztecs evened their early season ledger at 2-2 while the Anteaters improved to 2-1.

February 21, 2017 (San Diego) - Since the rest of the Campbell/Cartier Classic last weekend was rained out, SDSU softball didn't returne to Aztec Softball Stadium until tonight when they hosted the Siena University Saints on Tuesday night.  Senior righty Erica Romero got the start for the Aztecs against Siena’s freshman righty Maddie McMahon.

February 21, 2017 (La Quinta, Calif.) - The San Diego State men’s golf team remains in a third-place tie after shooting a 5-over-par 289 on Tuesday during the second round of The Prestige at PGA West.  The Aztecs vaulted into the lead midway through the day, opening up a six-shot advantage at one point, before slipping back into the third position at 3-over 571, along with Iowa State.

February 21, 2017 (San Diego) - Aztecs men's basketball has won three straight.  Again.  They have only won four straight once this season.  They're looking to do it again tomorrow night against Fresno State at home.  Coach Steve Fisher, junior guard Trey Kell and junior forward Malik Pope sat down with the media today at the team's weekly press conference.
