February 11, 2017 (Alberquerque) - San Diego State track and field had two school records broken in the final day of the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, as senior Micha Auzenne broke her own 60-meter dash record in the preliminaries and the Aztecs’ 4x400-meter relay team set the all-time mark on Saturday.

February 11, 2017 (Reno, Nev.) - San Diego State women’s basketball was able to keep their Mountain West game with Nevada within reach for three quarters, but could not counteract a stupendous fourth quarter by the Wolfpack, dropping its game at Nevada, 88-65.

February 11, 2017 (Eugene, Ore.) - The visiting San Diego State lacrosse team came up short for the second game in a row, falling to Oregon by an 11-9 count in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation conference opener for both teams on Saturday at Papé Field.

February 10, 2017 (Alberquerque) - San Diego State track and field junior Ashley Henderson broke the school record in the 200 meters with her 23.40 time on the first day of the Don Kirby Elite Invitational at Albuquerque Convention Center on Saturday,one meet removed from setting the UW Invitational meet record in the event on Jan. 27.

February 10, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State split a pair of games on its opening day Friday at SDSU Softball Stadium. The Aztecs (1-1) downed South Dakota, 7-1, in the opener before falling to No. 8/8 UCLA, 8-0, in six innings later in the day in games that were moved to San Diego because of inclement weather in the Los Angeles area.

February 10, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s tennis team snapped a three-match losing stretch Friday with a convincing 6-1 triumph over Northern Arizona at Aztec Tennis Center. With the victory, SDSU improves to 2-3 overall, while the Lumberjacks remain winless on the young season at 0-3.

February 10, 2017 (San Diego) - No. 17 San Diego State opened Golden Coast Conference action with a 12-6 home victory over Santa Clara. The three-time defending regular-season champions improved to 2-2 on the season and 1-0 in league. The Broncos, meanwhile, dropped to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the GCC.

February 8, 2017 (San Diego) - Aztecs women’s basketball has suffered four straight losses in Mountain West conference play  Tonight they had another chance to redeem themselves at home against San Jose State, who they lost a close 81-80 overtime game to in January.

February 6, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State lacrosse team picked up two Mountain Pacific Sports Federation awards on Monday as senior Kristen Hickey (Dedham, Mass.) was named Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman Taylor Sullivan (Annapolis, Md.) was selected Rookie of the Week. The two accolades were the first career weekly honors for the Aztec teammates.

February 4, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s tennis team captured the early doubles point, but was unable to maintain the momentum in singles play before ultimately suffering a 4-2 setback against the University of San Diego in a non-conference dual match at Aztec Tennis Center.

February 1, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State junior catcher Jenavee Peres (Garden Grove, Calif.) has been named to the 2017 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Watch List, USA Softball announced Wednesday. Peres is one of 50 players on the preseason list.
