July 24, 2016 (Lakeside) - Join the Lakeside Community Center for a night of entertainment, games, food and fun for the entire family.. As part of San Diego's Movies in the Park series, the Center will be hosting two movies at the Lindo Lake Baseball fields featuring "The Incredibles" on Friday, August 26.

July 6, 2015 (Lakeside) – Residents across East County are invited to a Neighborhood Watch training program put on by staff of the Lakeside Sheriff Substation. The training will be held on Friday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lakeside Community Center, 99841 Vine Street in Lakeside.

WHAT'S PLANNED FOR LINDO LAKES? FIND OUT AT TWO PUBLIC MEETINGS

April 11, 2013 (Lakeside) – Two public meetings are scheduled regarding Lakeside's Lindo Lake.

The County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation will  hold a public meeting  on Wednesday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at the Lakeside Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the long term plans for Lindo Lake and obtain community input. All members of the public are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held at the Lakeside Community Center, 9841 Vine Street, Lakeside.

The Lindo Lake Subcommittee will hold a meeting on Monday May 6, 2013 at 9 a.m. to review the community input of the April 17, 2013 meeting and possibly develop recommendations to submit to the County regarding Lindo Lake.
