April 15, 2022 (Spring Valley) – The San Diego Sheriff’s Rancho San Diego station invites you to Coffee with the Community. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the San Diego Youth Services East Campus auditorium 3845 at Spring Drive in Spring Valley.

September 28, 2019 (Lemon Grove) – The Sheriff’s department will host Coffee with the Community on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Starbucks (3520 Massachusetts Avenue near Broadway) in Lemon Grove.  The public is invited to meet patrol deputies and ask questions about issues brewing in the community.  
 
During the one hour meeting, attendees can also learn about crime prevention and free safety programs offered by the Lemon Grove substation.

LARGE CROWD SHARES CONCERNS AT RANCHO SAN DIEGO SHERIFF’S COFFEE WITH COMMUNITY

March 13, 2019 (Spring Valley) – Area residents packed into Butler’s Coffee Shop in Spring Valley this morning to share concerns over alleged drug houses, homeless camps, traffic concerns and more.  Interim Sheriff’s Station Captain Charles Cinnamo was on hand to answer questions, along with California Highway Patrol Commander Jason Penner and District Attorney community partnership prosecutor Monique Myers, who handles the East County region.

February 20, 2018 (Santee) – The Santee Sheriff’s station will host a coffee with the community on Tuesday, February 27th from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Santee Branch Library (9225 Carlton Hills Blvd. #17).

This is an opportunity to meet and engage with the San Diego County Sheriff’ Department. You’ll have a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know deputies who patrol your neighborhood. You can also get crime prevention tips and learn more about free safety programs, helping work together to keep your community safe.

October 27, 2016 (Spring Valley) -- Marijuana dispensaries, homelessness, and the need for more deputies were the main concerns of the audience at the Sheriff’s “Coffee with the Community” in Casa de Oro today. San Diego County Sheriff Captain Marc Garmo spoke to and with an audience of 40 people for two hours at Butler’s Coffee House on Campo Road in Spring Valley.
