September 28, 2019 (Lemon Grove) – The Sheriff’s department will host Coffee with the Community on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Starbucks (3520 Massachusetts Avenue near Broadway) in Lemon Grove. The public is invited to meet patrol deputies and ask questions about issues brewing in the community.
During the one hour meeting, attendees can also learn about crime prevention and free safety programs offered by the Lemon Grove substation.

Interim Sheriff’s Station Captain Charles Cinnamo was on hand to answer questions, along with California Highway Patrol Commander Jason Penner and District Attorney community partnership prosecutor Monique Myers, who handles the East County region.
