June 8, 2021 (Ramona) – The Ramona Valley Vineyards Association invites you to experience the beautiful Ramona wine country and visit up to 16 wineries on Saturdays and Sundays in June during the “Summer of Wine Trail.”

RVVA WINES RECEIVE TOP AWARDS AT THE TOAST OF THE COAST WINE COMPETITION

June 22, 2017 (Ramona) -- The Ramona Valley Vineyard Association (RVVA) announced that a total of thirteen wines from six of its winery members received top awards from the sixth annual The Toast of the Coast Wine Competition. The competition is produced by the 22nd District Agricultural Association in conjunction with the San Diego County Fair.

November 16, 2016 (Ramona) - Participating wineries from the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association (RVVA) will be holding a Holiday Wine Trail in the heart of San Diego Wine Country on Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11, from noon until 5:00 p.m.

EIGHT RAMONA VALLEY WINERIES WIN BIG AT LARGEST-EVER NY FINGER LAKES INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION

April 20, 2016 (Ramona) -- Eight winery members of the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association (RVVA) received a total of 25 medals from the annual, largest-ever New York Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, known as the biggest charitable wine competition. This year’s event reviewed a total number of entries of 3,827 wines from more than 900 wineries in all 50 states, six Canadian provinces, and 26 different nations.

PLENTY TO SAVOR AT THE RAMONA ART AND WINE FESTIVAL

November 22,2014 (Ramona) – Fine art, music, wine and gourmet food -- all served up in a castle. What more could one ask to savor for in an event?

The second annual Ramona Art and Wine Festival, held on November 1st, was even bigger and better than the first. Held at the elegant Amy Strong Castle in Ramona to benefit the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural program, this year's event featured 18 local artists, a dozen local wineries and 10 local chefs.

MICOLE MOORE ELECTED PRESIDENT OF RAMONA VALLEY VINEYARD ASSOCIATION

 

March 29, 2014(Ramona) The Ramona Valley Vineyard Association (RVVA) elected Vintner Micole Moore, of Ramona Ranch Winery to serve as President of the Ramona Valley Vineyard Association for 2014.   The RVVA represents nearly100 vineyards and wineries, with the Ramona Valley AVA recently named the fastest emerging wine-region in California.  Located approximately 35 miles NE of San Diego, the Ramona Valley is nestled in the front range of the Pacific coastal mountains of Southern California and has a rich history of vineyards and wine making, dating back to the early missions.  Hot days and cool nights, influenced by the coastal marine layer and fog, contribute to conditions that produce quality wine grapes in the Ramona Valley.
