February 12, 2012 (San Diego) – At this weekend’s California Democratic Convention, the statewide party issued pre-primary endorsements in three Congressional races but declined to make an early endorsement in two other races.
February 1, 2012 (Alpine)—Democratic, Republican and Libertarian candidates running against incumbent Congressman Duncan Hunter will be squaring off at a candidate forum on Saturday, February 4 at 1 p.m. in the Alpine Community Center, 1830 Alpine Blvd. in Alpine.
December 7, 2011 (Ramona)-- East County residents will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of three candidates running against Congressman Duncan Hunter at a town hall meeting on Wednesday, December 7 at 6 p.m. in the Ramona Library, 1275 Main Street in Ramona . The three candidates are David Secor (D), Terri Linnell (R), and Connie Frankowiak (D).
HUNTER ALSO WINS EASILY; WATCHDOG TO FACE CONGRESSSMAN IN NOVEMBER
June 9, 2010 (San Diego’s East County) – Raymond Lutz won a decisive victory in the 52nd Congressional district Democratic Primary, winning 70.63% of the vote. His opponent, community activist Connie Frankowiak of Anza-Borrego, received 29.3% with all precincts counted.
In November, Lutz will face off against incumbent Republican Congressman Duncan D. Hunter, who won a resounding primary victory over Tea Party activist Terri Linnell by a 90.5 to 9.5% margin.

June 3, 2010 (San Diego’s East County) – While other candidates are hitting the campaign trail, Congressman Duncan D. Hunter is in Afghanistan visiting troops and getting an update on the war. On the home front, four candidates are on the ballot in the June 8th primary, each taking aim in hopes of representing the 52nd Congressional district.
While running against the Hunter family legacy (the current Republican Congressman replaced his father, also named Duncan Hunter), may seen a daunting task, Democrats Ray Lutz and Connie Frankowiak, as well as Republican Terri Linnell and Libertarian Michael Benoit, are taking on the challenge.
April 5, 2010 (La Mesa) – The La Mesa Foothills Democratic Club is hosting a free candidate forum on Wednesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. All Democratic candidates running for the 52nd Congressional District, 77th Assembly District, 36th State Senate District, and San Diego School Board Seat B have been invited to speak.
