CUYAMACA COLLEGE'S COYOTE MUSIC FESTIVAL MAY 2: A HOWLING GOOD TIME

 

April 17, 2015 (Rancho San Diego)--Six homegrown bands playing an eclectic mix of folk, jazz, pop and rock will perform on two stages on the grand lawn of Cuyamaca College at the Coyote Music Festival noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2. Now in its seventh year, the entirely student-run festival will provide the community a free afternoon of live music by local talent in a family-friendly venue, where picnic blankets and lawn chairs are the best seats in the house.

SOMETHING FOR EVERY MUSICAL TASTE AT CUYAMACA COLLEGE'S COYOTE MUSIC FESTIVAL APRIL 26

 

April 16, 2015 (El Cajon) – Homegrown live music from seven bands with a diverse mix of styles will be coming to Cuyamaca College with the return of the Coyote Music Festival from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 26. Now in its sixth year, the free outdoor festival has retained its eclectic vibe, with a host of young talent playing everything from coffeehouse acoustic pop to Tejano rock. The mostly young crew of volunteers is a reminder that the event is actually a class assignment for students enrolled in Music Industry Studies, a transfer degree program unique locally to Cuyamaca College that focuses on the practical aspects of developing careers in the music industry.

MUSICIANS SET TO HOWL AT COYOTE MUSIC FESTIVAL MAY 4

April 28, 2013 (Rancho San Diego)—Cuyamaca College hosts its 5th annual Coyote Music Festival from 12-5 p.m. on May 4, featuring nine bands/solo artists on two stages showcasing their original music compositions.

Performers will take stage on the grand lawn on campus at 900 Rancho San Diegio Parkway in El Cajon. Genres at this event, which has free admission, include acoustic, rock, and folk by these talented home-grown songwriters.

COYOTE MUSIC FESTIVAL: FREE CONCERTS MAY 1 SHOWCASE LOCAL TALENT

El Cajon, CA – The Cuyamaca College Music Industry Studies program will host the second annual Coyote Music Festival on May 1, from 12-5 pm on the lawn of Cuyamaca College. The free, all-ages event will present a wide range of musical styles including alternative rock, folk, Indie, metalcore, and rap.

 

This year the festival has expanded to two stages and will feature performances by Silent Lune, Christine Marie, Aghori, Yttrium, Steam Powered Giraffe, January Lights, Steve Stylez, Jester James, and Jesse Lamonaca and the Dime Novels. All of the artists are from the San Diego area, and they all play original music.

STUDENTS GO ALL OUT FOR FREE COYOTE MUSIC FESTIVAL , HOPE FOR A HOWLING SUCCESS

April 23, 2009 (El Cajon, CA) – The bands are ready to play. The stage is set up and the equipment is in place. Thousands of flyers and postcards have been distributed, and hundreds of posters have been put up San Diego City and in East County. For the students in Cuyamaca College's Music Industry Studies program, the efforts of a whole semester will reach their fruition on May 1, when the first Coyote Music Festival unfolds on the college's Grand Lawn at 3pm.
