SENATOR ATKINS INTRODUCES LEGISLATION TO CREATE NEW HOUSING FOR LOWER-INCOME CALIFORNIANS

December 6, 2016 (San Diego) -- Shortly after being sworn in as the senator representing California’s 39th District on Monday, Toni G. Atkins (D-San Diego) introduced legislation, SB 2, to create a permanent source of funding for affordable housing.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT OPENS IN SANTEE

October 15, 2010 (Santee) – On September 25th, the 48-unit Cedar Creek Apartments project welcomed its first residents. With a loan of $5.27 million from the Santee Community Development Commission, Chelsea Investment Corporation of Carlsbad completed construction of the apartment complex on Fanita, designed for low-income individuals and families.
