LEMON GROVE HISTORICAL SOCIETY WILL PRESENT "ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS" DEC. 10: FUNDRAISER FOR THE 8TH GRADERS’ CLASS TRIP TO DC.

December 7, 2011 (Lemon Grove)—The public is invited to a fundraiser hosted by Lemon Grove Historical Society to defray the cost for all 8th graders going on a class trip to Washington D.C in the spring 2012.
 
"Absolutely Fabulous" will take place on Saturday, December 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the H. Lee House, 3205 Olive Street, Lemon Grove.

LEMON GROVE HISTORICAL SOCIETY HONORS VETERANS JUNE 2

 

May 25, 2011 (Lemon Grove) --The Lemon Grove Historical Society will hold its 34th annual meeting on June 2 at 7 p.m. in the H. Lee House, 3205 Olive. The event will honor military veterans with a special performance of swing music of World War II by the dynamic trio, "Sweet Potato" (Robin Fuller, vocals and piano; Rich Archambeau, saxophone; and Don Holcomb, bass).

February 5, 2011 (Lemon Grove)--Jim and Ann Elliott, for 30 years the last word in printing, mailing and political consulting at Western Graphics in Lemon Grove, will bring tales from the trenches and little-known backstories of politicians on the prowl to "History Alive," the monthly lectures series sponsored by the Lemon Grove Historical Society on Mar. 3 at 7 p.m. in the H. Lee House Cultural Center, 3205 Olive, Lemon Grove.
