May 19, 2017 (Spring Valley) – Calling all walkers! You’re invited to get on track and take turns walking for 24 hours, since cancer never sleeps. It’s all part of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life team event to fight cancer this Saturday and Sunday, May 21, starting at 9 a.m. each day at Monte Vista High School’s football field, 3230 Sweetwater Springs Blvd. in Spring Valley.

June 21, 2013 (Alpine) – The American Cancer Society’s Alpine Relay for Life begins at 8:00 a.m. at Joan Mac Queen Middle School, 2001 Tavern Road, Alpine. Get a group of friends, family, or co-workers together as a Relay team and get ready for 24 hours of fun, excitement with music, food contests, awards and prizes. Participants can choose to walk or run the relay.
The event will honor the courageous spirit of those battling cancer. An evening luminaria ceremony will honor those who lost their battle to cancer or are currently on a cancer journey.

June 7, 2011 (Lakeside) -- The second annual Lakeside Relay for Life will be held on Saturday June 11, 2011 to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Teams of people camp out and take turns running or walking around the track during this 24-hour free event.

This special 24-hour event is Saturday, June 4-5, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at 1035 E. Madison Avenue, in El Cajon.
