July 30, 2012 (El Cajon) -- Civic-minded East County residents in the construction field are urged to apply for a seat on the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District’s Citizens Bond Oversight Committee, which monitors the district’s spending on a $207 million bond measure.

Chula Vista Centennial Celebration 2011

 
September 4, 2011 (Chula Vista) -- The City of Chula Vista announced plans  in January of this year for the Chula Vista Centennial, a year-long celebration of events and community projects in 2011, to commemorate the City’s 100 years.

LA MESA RESIDENTS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ON CITY BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES

 

May 22, 2011 (La Mesa)Applications are now being accepted for positions on the City’s boards, commissions, and committees. The deadline for submission of applications is 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011, in the City Clerk’s office at La MesaCity Hall, 8130 Allison Avenue. Applications may be obtained at City Hall, the La Mesa Library or by accessing the City of La Mesa website, www.cityoflamesa.com.
