KICK UP YOUR HEELS AT GROSSMONT CENTER’S SUNSET SUMMER CONCERT SERIES—FRIDAYS IN JUNE AND JULY

 

 
May 31, 2012 (La Mesa) -- Nothing says summer like dancing under the stars, and dining al fresco. Back by popular demand, Grossmont Center will host its popular summer concerts series beginning Friday evening, June 1 and each Friday through July in the Macy’s courtyard from 6-8 p.m.

PROJECT WILDLIFE HOSTS WILDLIFE BABY SHOWER APRIL 14

 
April 8, 2012 (San Diego) -- Each Spring and Summer when local wildlife nest and birth their young, Project Wildlife receives and cares for thousands of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife countywide until they are ready for release.
 
Come experience the wildlife “baby season” at the organization’s third annual Wildlife Baby Shower. The event will be held on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Project Wildlife’s Triage Center, 887 ½ Sherman St., San Diego 92110.

May 26, 2011 (San Diego County) --The region’s largest free outdoor summer movies series returns this year with more locations and more great family films than ever before. The San Diego County Department of Parks and Recreation has teamed up with the cities of San Diego, National City, La Mesa, San Marcos, Oceanside, Poway and Lemon Grove and the U.S.S. Midway to expand the Summer Movies in the Park series.
