TEAMS WANTED FOR BBQ CONTEST OCT. 16 IN SPRING VALLEY

September 4, 2016 (Spring Valley) – Fire up your barbecues and get your best recipes ready!  The 7^th annual Spring Valley Tailgate BBQ Festival is looking for participants to vie for $1,000 in prizes.

The event is sponsored by Cali Comfort Restaurant and the Marso Walchef Youth Empowerment Organization to raise funds for youth sports.  The BBQ competition will be held on Sunday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the street outside Cali Comfort at 8910 Troy Street in Spring Valley.

BBQ samples are available to the public at $2 each. There will also be a beer garden, street vendors, family fun and music.
