January 31, 2017 (El Cajon) -- Ben Kalasho is the newest elected Councilman representing El Cajon residents. He will host a town hall meeting on Thursday, February 9 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to hear the concerns and questions from his community & neighbors.   The meeting will be held at the El Cajon Police Station community room, 100 Civic Way in El Cajon.

Councilman Kalasho announces that he will attempt to create regular Town Hall meetings should the turnout and community response be received favorably.

He says he realizes that most people are unable to attend regular City Council meetings due to scheduling issues, since many people are working on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. when the Council meets.  This poses a disconnect in his opinion between residents and city officials. Kalasho says he is attempting to hear everyone and be accessible to the residents he serves by taking this initiative on his own time.

The meeting will be conducted in a manner roughly outlined below:

7:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. Welcome & Intro

7:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m City Plans, New & Upcoming matter

7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Q & A

To RSVP, please email BKalasho@CityOfElCajon.us or text RSVP [Your name] to 619-244-6220.
