TRAFFIC ALERTS: MAJOR ACCIDENTS IN LAKESIDE, ALPINE AND SAN DIEGO

November 6, 2011 (San Diego) – Travelers tonight should beware of several serious accidents causing traffic delays in Alpine, Lakeside and San Diego.

Most critical is a head-on collision involving a semi-truck and another vehicle has left one vehicle on fire; CHP is en route to the collision in the 11900 block of State Route 67 in Lakeside; one victim is laying on the ground, IPN reports.

In Alpine, an accident involving multiple cars on eastbound I-8 at the Victoria over-crossing near Willows has the #2 and #3 lanes blocked, according to the CHP website.

On College Avenue at Acorn in the mid-city area, a car vs. motorcycle accident has injured three victims, one now in CPR status.

Near downtown, at 28th and Harbor Drive, a vehicle accident has ejected one victim onto a railroad track, resulting in a head injury.
