A memorial service is set for December 31 in Alpine

December 30, 2011 (Alpine) --A trust fund has been set up at Chase Bank for the two young sons of Debbie Meltzer, who was killed December 23 by her husband, Justin Meltzer. (story:  http://www.eastcountymagazine.org/node/8213)
You can donate at any Chase bank to the Jacob and Lucas Meltzer fund. The account number is 3010155215.

Because the boys are minors, their name is not on the account, however the Alpine Community Group's editor has verified that this is the correct account information, which any donor can confirm with the Alpine branch of Chase at 1271 Alpine Road, Alpine.

In addition, a separate “Debra Meltzer Memorial Fund” has been established at Cabrillo Credit Union for employees of Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she worked, to donate.  A statement from Sharp Memorial states, “She was well-liked and admired by her colleagues who described her as a "bright light" in the department.”
