Yesterday, riding my bike

Yesterday, riding my bike down Banner grade, I passed a motor home parked parked somewhat askew on the shoulder. A park ranger was across the road in his vehicle, talking on the radio. On my way back up, I was passed by a CHP car who I later saw parked next to the ranger at the scene. A little farther up the road, two more CHP (SUVs) passed me heading to the same location. Then two sheriffs! Finally, just as I reached Wynola Rd., two fire engines and an ambulance heading sped by.

Fire engines? An Ambulance? What for, methought?

I wonder if there were more victim/bodies involved?
