VEHICLE HITS GAS LINE IN FALLBROOK: EVACUATIONS ORDERED

September 20, 2010 (Fallbrook) – Evacuations have been ordered in Fallbrook, after a vehicle struck a gas line at Green Canyon and Carolton, causing a gas leak, California Highway Patrol reported at 10:40 p.m.

 

Incident Page Network reports the gas line is a four-inch line.That's far smaller than the 30-inch line that ruptured in San Bruno recently, causing an explosion that leveled dozens of homes and killed several residents.

At least one individual was injured in the accident and an ambulance is responding.
