WARNER SPRINGS VICTIMS IN DOUBLE MURDER-SUICIDE NAMED

May 12, 2015 (Warner Springs) – Sheriff’s Homicide detectives have identified the victims in a murder-suicide that occurred on May 1st at a home on Chihuahua Valley Road.  The double-murder victims are Sadie Louise Stockalper, 27, and Elena Howard-Vinnard, 54.  Both were found dead of gunshots in the upper bodies.

The suspect, Steven M. Keith, was alive when deputies arrived, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot that Homicide investigators concluded was self-inflicted. Despite lifesaving efforts by deputies and paramedics, he died.

According to Lt. John Maryon, Keith and Stockalper were “having some issues in their dating relationship” which may have triggered the violent actions.
