April 27, 2017 (Malibu) --With Southern California experiencing a “super bloom” after years of draught there is no better time to get out and enjoy the beautiful nature of the region.   But where to go, now that the Anza Borrego bloom is nearly over?

The Ranch Malibu and 4.0 have guests hiking 4-5 hours a day through Southern California terrain --and now guests can enjoy fields of water flowers along their grueling hikes.  Flower power!

The Ranch is a healthy lifestyle company that features two acclaimed results-oriented, fitness and wellness programs.  The company was founded in September 2010 with the launch of The Ranch Malibu, a seven-day program, and later expanded to open a four-day experience, The Ranch 4.0 at Four Seasons Westlake Village and The Ranch 10.0, which combines both programs and locations.   The brand is also planning to expand its portfolio with the opening of The Ranch Sonoma in early 2018.

Dedicated to improving the quality of one's life by improving their health, The Ranch programs recalibrate the mind and body through an intense fitness and wellness regimen paired with a highly structured, plant-based nutritional diet.  Each day consists of 8 hours of low impact activity – centered around a breathtaking and varied 4-hour group hike each morning – afternoon nap time, fitness classes, yoga and daily massage. This intense physical regimen is complemented by a 1,400 calorie-a-day, organic vegan diet.
