February 4, 2016 (Ramona) -- John Little's Catering will create an unforgettable Valentine’s evening at the Grant James’ Winery, located on the scenic Old Julian Highway in Ramona. The chef will be serving a 5-course tasting menu designed to showcase Grant James’ best new wine releases.   This culinary adventure takes place in the Old Barn on Sunday, February 14 at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, February 13 from 1-5 p.m., Kim Spero, from the Cheeses from the Cave will be serving cheese, fruit and wine combination. She has crafted a special cheese dusted in coco that has been designed to pair with Grant James’ Delphinus wine, chocolate and a piece of fruit.  For reservations and information visit http://www.vineyardgrantjames.com/.

crispy coconut crab cake, arcadian greens, mango vinaigrette

paired with Bellatrix

medjool date, portuguese linguica, bacon, bed of grilled asparagus, spiced bread crumbs, aioli

paired with Petite Sirah

petite chocolate waffle, maple braised pork belly, spicy praline pecan, maple reduction

paired with Super Tuscan

cocoa-seared tenderloin, blue cheese mashed potatoes, fried brussels sprouts, blackberry chile jam, chocolate balsamic drizzle, balsamic pearls

paired with Phoenix

5

dark chocolate bread pudding, chantilly cream, espresso dust

paired with Delphinus
